Why is my Bijoux Beanie pointy?
We have had some feedback that the decrease instructions for the Bijoux Beanies aren't as explicit as they could be...
Some of you have ended up making pointy pixie beanies, which are super cute and we love them, so please do not unpick if yours fall into this category (in fact please pat yourself on the back for showing superb creative flair). But for those of you who’d rather make your beanies round with room for a Pom Pom, please check out the new instruction below. Currently, the pattern reads:
‘Continue decreasing stitches in this way every knit row until only 8 (8,16) stitches remain.'
To clarify this line should read:
'Continue decreasing the number of knit stitches by 1 in this way every knit row until only 8 (8,16) stitches remain, ie, next row: Knit 3(4,5) stitches then knit the next 2 stitches together, repeat to the end of the row. Etc'
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
We look forward to seeing your little beanies soon, points or no.
